A Huge Thank You to Councillor Glenn Dennis!

Aug 14, 2025 | News

We are incredibly humbled and honoured to have been chosen as one of the Mayor’s Charities in 2024. This special recognition shone a much-needed spotlight on our work with migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking women here at Reading Community Learning Centre.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Councillor Glenn Dennis for his amazing fundraising efforts on our behalf. The generosity and commitment shown will make a real difference to the women we support and the opportunities we can provide.

This funding will directly help us continue creating a safe, welcoming space where women can learn, grow, and connect—building confidence, skills, and brighter futures.

Thank you, Glenn, for believing in our mission and for helping to ensure our work can reach even more women in our community. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, attended events, or gave their time to help raise funds during the mayoral year. Your support really makes a difference.
