Mayor of Reading Visits RCLC

Nov 12, 2024 | News

We were deeply honoured to welcome the Right Worshipful Mayor of Reading, Councillor Glenn Dennis to RCLC , where we work tirelessly to support migrant, refugee and asylum seeking women in developing essential language, confidence and vocational skills. Your visit has brought invaluable attention to the challenges faced by migrant and refugee women as they navigate new environments while striving for empowerment and independence in a new country.

The women we support come from diverse backgrounds, often having experienced displacement and hardship. Your presence and words of encouragement not only uplifted their spirits but also highlighted the importance of inclusivity and community support. We are incredibly grateful for your commitment to ensuring that all women, regardless of their background, have access to opportunities for personal growth and integration.

Your continued advocacy for marginalized communities helps amplify the significance of our mission, and we are inspired by your dedication to making a positive impact. Thank you for standing with us as we work to create pathways to independence and success for women who need it most. We look forward to continuing our partnership in building a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone.
