SAVE THE DATE: YOUR GIFT TO RCLC CAN BE DOUBLED

Sep 25, 2026 | News

From 6-13 October, Reading Community Learning Centre is taking part in the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund.

This campaign matters enormously to us. We are raising £10,000 towards the essential costs that keep RCLC running – our rent, staff, utilities and administration. This is not funding for a new project. It will help protect the Centre and services women already rely on at a time when we are facing a much larger funding gap for 2026/27.

In 2025/26 we recorded 621 course enrolments from women originating from 44 countries and speaking 34 languages. At the end of the summer term, 82 women were still waiting for a place.

For one week, eligible donations made through our Big Give page can be DOUBLED while match funds remain.

£10 can become £20. £25 can become £50. £50 can become £100.

The Donate button opens at midday on 6 October.

Please share this post. The more people we reach, the greater our chance of raising the full £10,000.
